Alumi Glide® 5183 Aluminum Welding Wire is a premium aluminum-magnesium alloy wire with a nominal composition of 5% magnesium. Its unique composition and properties make it ideal for welding 5XXX series base alloys. It offers slightly higher strength than 5356 and consistently achieves 40 Ksi ultimate tensile when welding 5083 base material.
